Steel tower H=15,70 – BEO Musala

The design of a steel tower with height H = + 13.30 for the latest technological site has been developed in accordance with the current regulations and atmospheric loading conditions (peak “Musala” with altitude H = 2925m). During the development of the project, special attention was taken to the snow load: snow bags, icing; wind – for static and dynamic components, as well as other loads from operating equipment, suspension of inspection devices and respectively from the “spire for a lightning rod with a head with an anticipatory action” according to modern regulations for lightning protection.
The steel tower is in close proximity to the building of the Basic Ecological Observatory with provided technological sites at elevation (+3.70; +8.50 and +13.30) and for lightning protection elevation (+15.70).
